not a Lo Williamsi?

Post by dellelce »

hi All,

Sorry if this is an easy one but I am very new.

This one is very similar to a Lophophora Williams but at the same time, there are differences.

Its colour is different, much darker, the way it offshoots is different, and the flower appears to be slightly different.

It is (de-)grafted bought in a lot and the CN seller is not very good with ID'ing plants.

Maybe it is just a hybrid?

Thank you

Astrophytum asterias, probably. But not like one I have seen before. Can it be it has been grafted?

I think this is a cultivar of Astrophytum asterias called 'Fukuryiu Ooibo' (five ribs)
