Ferocactus ID

Post by daiv »

I recently added this picture under F. chrysacanthus having determined the ID myself. I think I got it right, but could anyone confirm?

Thanks!

Thanks. I thought of that as an alternative, but as I understand F. eastwoodiae is noted for lacking the bristle-like radial spines. I admit that this plant doesn't have a lot of those, but I think some of those at the top could be considered bristles. :dontknow:

Daiv,
I am not sure either, but it's a nice looking Fero whatever it's name is. :)

Side note...
Ferocactus cylindraceus ssp.eastwoodiae (is that named after Clint Eastwood?)
