I understand that E. knippelianus has both a top-flowering and side flowering form. It is easy to see which one you have!

I know that  and i don't want to know, what Dutch people think about the germans, especially when we beat you in South Africa next month
I also live at the border to the Netherlands, and we often travel to the Netherlans in order to buy in, mostly 'Vla' and cheese :D

I thought it is boring to show almost the same plants, because i have a lot more plants to show,
but they all have buds and show no blooms because of this sick wether right now.
I hope the weather changes later this month to show different plants.

so far I think your plants and flowers are a beautiful sight, so more of the same won't be a problem at all!
don't want to know, what Dutch people think about the germans, especially when we beat you in South Africa next month
you'll never know I guess, so etwas passiert überhaupt nicht!

I would be lying if i said that the dutch are very fond of germans, that has to do with the war blablabla, 65 years ago, now that's silly (just like you saying germany will beat the netherlands ;))
see you in the finals!

oh! you forgot the "hagelslag"

again, stunning flowers!
that pink chamaecereus hybrid is just crazy, I bet you won't be able to see the plant once it's on 'full strength'!
I also love the flowers on your rebutia and echinocerei, those are absolutely my favourite cacti, once again you're showing why.

where in germany do you live?

Wait till the other Echinocerues will bloom...or the echinopsis hybrids, or the trichocereus and lobivias. :D

I live in Weener (Leer), Nothern Saxony, ~70 kilometers away from Groningen.

Excellent photographs.

Frank,
Nice collection, you really have a lot of Echinocereus, which btw have wonderful blooms on them. I only have the E. engelmannii which is cool too, but some of the colors of yours, esp some of the hybrids are so nice!

Darryl, I tend to obsess over plants so I am guilty of that as well. :)
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.
