So how and where dou you grow your cacti? I remember on the roof, is there some shade? Can you show all the place?
Re: Ferocactus horridus f. brevispinus
Nice short spines (at least it looks like that from above).
Re: Ferocactus horridus f. brevispinus
Very nice Arturo! I have a pair of those horridus, which coincidentally came from Spain, many years ago when parcels used to travel easily.

ANTISEPP . Well, very complicated considering that they are on a roof where it dawns at 8.00 and gets dark at 9.30. in clay pots and with a scorching sun.
I put an old sheet on them, I change their place
I show you how I'm looking for the shadow

Wow! Great! They have very nice strong spination in your sun! And not burned!
¡muy impresionante!
When I tried to grow cacti outdoors in open air their growth became very poor cause of lack of summary temps...
Only greenhouse save us and they can grow happily there.
My F horridus brevispinus had buds many times but not flowered yet.
Old common F horridus have flowered every summer many times grown from very small seedling.

Olen samaa mieltä siitä, että pidät siitä.
Kaktuskasvatuksen on oltava maassasi hyvin monimutkaista, se tapahtuu päinvastoin kuin minulle. taistelet auringon puutetta vastaan ja minä päinvastoin

Great. Kiitos! Gracias e muito obrigado!
I have to say that there's enough light but temps... I have to move all cacti within a month into garage saving from winter cold. And then in spring backward movement. When I carry my biggest ones or heavy boxes I darn and swear that never buy no one cactus again.

Re: Ferocactus horridus f. brevispinus
a lot of work.
you can put some lamps or make yourself a LEGAL psychotropic garden, like me.
I have papaver somniferum subsp.setigerum. which is the wild one here. What will you see, she goes out alone down the street, Echinopsis Pachanoi or San Pedro.peyote. solandra maxima and brugmansia versicolor one of the many solanaceas in which burundanga can be taken, etc.
cannabis not that it is illegal and that it comes out alone
