And I know it's crude. but the monetary value if you sold off the older magnificent plants is enough to retire on for life.

No bonus-track today, the mouse invasion has depressed me. . .

I suppose with a collection of your size, vermin infestation is inevitable. 7 years ago it was not a problem. We had a couple of snakes living in and around the garden. Unfortunately the Rattle snake had to be killed. It was becoming more aggressive and it was dangerous to come go into the yard. I've had to resort to using bait traps. I use a second kill safe product. Meaning , the poison is not metabolised into the surrounding tissue. This helps prevent the secondary killing of Hawks and coyote in my area.
Good luck. the little buggers are a challenge.

Such a dazzling array of colors and forms. I never fail to be overwhelmed. Of course, I drool over the cacti, but I can't help but notice how much further advanced all your vegetables are than ours. But we had a miserable Spring--cold and wet. We never had temperatures solidly above 60 degrees until early June. The garden had to be planted weeks later than usual. Are your veggies in the greenhouse as well, or outdoors?
