I got one of these for my Girlfriends old man a couple of years ago.
That plant, the flower was just the deepest velvet red you can imagine and frilly too. Flowers wer'nt like these , maybe it's because the one I got was a smaller plant.
If it ever flowers again ? I'll try and get a picture up, but it's in a gloomy north window
