Yellow? Yellow??? Don't do yellow. Unless you mean Lithops? I did find these strange things from South America. Do they count?

Must it indeed be summer? No winter bloomers allowed?
Re: Contest 75 : Dicussion and related Pictures
I don't make the rules, but if I did I'd say no because the contest that just finished was C&S in the winter. Heck, my entry in that contest was a yellow flowered plant blooming in December!Melt In The Sun wrote:Must it indeed be summer? No winter bloomers allowed?
I'm now selling plants on Ebay. Check it out! Kyle's Plants

Nice one Majcka! You should enter it in the contest!majcka wrote:Hey John. I think this one can compre to upper one. It is just as yellow.
Of course the S. Americans count. If it is a cactus or succulent that bloomed in summer (Or at least very close to it) it is eligible. Yellow Lithop flowers would count as well, but only if it was flowering in the summer.iann wrote:Yellow? Yellow??? Don't do yellow. Unless you mean Lithops? Yes, it should be a picture taken during the summer. (If it was taken in late spring or early fall, I'm sure no one would notice )Melt In The Sun wrote:Must it indeed be summer? No winter bloomers allowed?
Winter bloomers are allowed, as long as it was blooming in the summertime.

Yes it is. The photo must have been taken during summer - so, as long as it is/was summer wherever the photo was taken it qualifies.majcka wrote:Hey! Re: Contest 75 : Dicussion and related Pictures
How about the summer before that? No one specified which summer the photo had to be taken in - it just had to be taken in summergemhunter178 wrote:I only see flowers! Nice!Aiko wrote:Guess what's underneath:

Hmm, tricky to pick a favourite!
Can't use my favourite here as it wasn't technicly summer when it flowered.
M. surculosa...to early as it flowered in October.
Might just wait and see what these 2 will do in coming days.
