Opuntia blooming

3 flowers came out this morning and I count about 50 more flower buds on the way. Just a little over a year ago I planted this SINGLE pad in the ground...now look at it!

I planted it 15 months ago..And i dont know exactly what its called. Anyone want to take a stab at it?

I thinks its O. Ellisiana, a look at new growth would make it easy to confirm.
