Hi Alex,

Thanks for the link. Looks like an interesting forum. Noticed they have a section for habitat shots.

Have you been out in the field recently?

Best,

I noticed something shocking when viewing the third time. The owner used hell lot of slow release fertilizers. Is he boosting growth by nitrogen?

Those are wonderful! I also pump mine up with slow release while they're small. Might as well get them big by grafting and feeding, although I realize there's no accounting for taste.

There's big money in that collection. I can't decide whether to laugh or cry for this plant.

Although the "mutants" are really not my favs - that first black and red Astro is really amazing.

Theres some other very nice plants and pics on that forum - the Spanish I couldn't struggle through I used a page translator to get the basics of the conversations.

not really my thing .......there are enough cacti in nature without creating more :? having said that i keep a few hybrids out of curiosity but it always amazes me how much people are willing to pay for those

we have a nursery over here where they have created over 100 rebutia hybrids   i bought one called snow white
this is it :? i think they got the name wrong
