Hola hola

Post by Wayra »

Hello people. I've been living in Australia for 3 years now but im originally from Peru. Its weird how I just started getting into cacti after leaving cactus wonderland in Peru. I've just started this hobby this year and I love it. Been back to Peru a couple of times and have found myself amazed with the variety and amounts of cactus around. Will post soon some pics of cactus I saw when I was last there, specially in Colca Canyon and surroundings.
I can see you are all very nice people and really looking forward in learning from you guys as well as contributing to this forum..

Hey, welcome! So your from Peru... So are my cacti babies. I'm trying the Peruvian Torch/Trichocereus Peruvianus. I think they are from the Matucana area. How far did you live from there?

Wayra,
Wow, that is quite the story. It always seems we don't know what we've got until it's gone. I'd love to go to Peru some day and see those cacti. So many beautiful habitats!

Glad to have you. If you have Peruvian pictures, please share!

Hello Wayra,
welcome to this forum.
I agree, that it would be nice to have digital images of cacti native to Peru on this forum.
