Allrighty, that's it then. Darryl is the winner by a large margin, garnering almost half the votes for his extraordinarily creative an amusing parody: Cholla Wars.
Honorable mentions go to Daiv for his beautiful and surrealistic image, L.A. Cactus, and to Antonio for his gorgeous, albeit chromatically aberrant, "myriostigma v. rosa".
I know Darryl is normally the one to declare the winner, but since it's he this time around, and he may be shy about claiming an overwhelming and bloody victory, I took the liberty of congratulating him on his marvelous image of the Jedi Master wielding his dangerous Cholla Saber.
I can't wait to see Revenge of the Cholla when it is finally released, but I heard the movie was impounded because of some sort of CITES regulatory problem, and may never see the light of day. That will probably result in etiolation, and then no one will even want to see it anymore.
