Dave, here's G. erinaceum for the site picture list, as I see there's not a pic yet. From CSSA seed I sowed two years ago (in Tim's famous 10 dollar propagator).

I think the Echinocereus is scheeri ssp. gentryi.

Yes, Peter is right on the Echinocereus.
It's a beauty and a tough one (here) to get it to bloom. Only once I had succes, but I don't know what I did to have that succes. So trying and error....

Yes, you guys are right about the ID of the second. If it didn't bloom in Europe then it may be hard core sunshine that it needs. I let it dry out quite alot during the winter as well.
