Help with identifcation

I purchased this cactus from Home Depot a few weeks ago and am not of the correct name. It was labeled as a Haageocereus species. Based on my brief research I believe it could be Haageocereus Acranthus? Which seems based on this site to be quite rare. So now I am doubting the ID.

"Haageocereus species" means an unidentified specimen of genus Haageocereus. Most likely this is Haageocereus pseudoversicolor or Haageocereus versicolor, often considered synonyms. Can be H. acranthus as well.
Better wait to see their flowers to be more or less sure about this. I would also transplant those into different and little bigger pots.

True H versicolor looks like fox fur.

The articles about the species of Haageocereus here are written about 20 years ago. Since then many species became widely available even in box stores.
