P. Pecten-aboriginum?

Hello, I got this cactus a few months ago and I’m wondering if it’s P. Pecten-aboriginum? Could someone please help me identify? I want to make sure I give it proper care over a Denver winter.

No. Not Pachycereus but probably some Trichocereus. It brings beauiful flowers after good care, larger "head" shows it likes to live at your home.

Looks like my Trichocereus spachianus or some similar hybrid.

Also, are the new growth arms? Soon to be flowers? Is this typical for Trichocereus spachianus?

The new growth looks like vegetative offsets. Buds of this one are Echinopsis type: sharp, back and hairy.
Assuming you live in northern hemisphere, I don't think this plant will bloom in October... Also looks more-little shaded along that wall.

Usually trichocerei give new growth at grownd level.
Buds develope on the top of the plant.
In some cases buds turn into vegetative sprouts.
Give it dry cool overwintering in good light and maybe next summer you'll see nice large flowers.

I do not think it is a wild species of Trichocereus but it might be a nice flowering tricho hybrid.
