Hi Jerry, they are native wild animals.
I live in a native bushland (classified as dry sclerophyll forests), that's why plenty of native wildlife around. Beside reptiles, lots of birds, a few kangaroos and wallabies, and sometime echidnas. If you are scare of spiders, it's not the place you want to be....

They look similar, but I was wondering whether it's a hybrid, that's why I leave it as it is.

No hybrid, it's variable enough species.
