Post by mikethecactusguy »

A friend gave me this cutting a year ago. It has grown considerably. Its around 18" long now. Where would I cut this to propagate another stem.
Thanks

Why not put a pot under the dip and let it root itself?

Or you could cut a few stem segments.
They tend to branch naturally from the base, so a short stump with several shoots from it may look better than a long chopped-off branch.

IMHO better to replace in bigger pot an wait a little, then it will bloom and make new branches soon.

Thank you guys.
Uhmmmmmm. It is in a 6" pot now. The growing tip has looked like this from the start.
Or cut it into a few pieces and root those?
Experts please.
