From Steve's awesome sticky, it seems that I need to remove the scale from my unfortuate opuntias (just found them infested today upon watering - oh, no) with tweezers but then I am not so sure.
My plants are all indoor in saucers and I think the soak solution was no good for me from what I remember from the last discussion a couple of months ago. It was about mealies then.
Did I miss something? What should I do? Please help (agaim).
I would like to save these. Last time I threw my opuntia away that were infested - well, I threw some in the trash and some more lively ones into the yard, far away from my windows, and theose have come back - yeah!
I have several species in the same pot. Some don't look infested yet. Are they safe to keep in the window?
I was thinking I would remove the infested ones and keep the babies (pads) and others that don't show infestation around and watch them closely.
I am running out of quarantine spaces.
