I am thinking about degrafting this particular cactus:
Right now the scion already grows beyond the merging line between scion and stock. What is the best way to degraft this cactus? I imagine when the stock is removed, the center of the scion will sit above the soil instead of on the soil. That unless part of the cactus was buried underground.
Anyone with experience with this kind of degrafting?
