Hi All
I had stopped by my Local Lowes for some pea gravel and lava rock and as I was walking out i spotted this little guy. $2.99. It was sitting outside and was obviously getting to much water since its been raining in Los Angeles for a few weeks, so I decided it needed a new dry home.
My first Pieiospilos Nelii.. Added bonus will be the flower. I've moved indoors and have it under a grow light until It dried out and I re-pot it.

This is a very beautiful Mesemb! Congratulations and I hope it thrives under your care. I only have one, bought it to take a first feel of their cultivation, so I am just a beginner on those, I don't know if I will continue collecting them. They are somewhat finicky, trying to learn.

It is sitting inside right now under a plant light for 8 hours a day. Interior temp is anywhere from 62 to 68 degrees. When the heat comes on it does get up to 72 where the plant shelf is but only for 5 minutes or so. The soil seems to have dried out a bit already.
Lets see what happens. If it blooms, I will post pictures.
