The flower opens around 4pm and closes around 6pm. Only open 2h a day. Anyone knows if its how Lithops flowers are if not why does it only open for 2h a day?

My first flowering Lithop!
All my Lithops have same growing conditions .... some have rot .... and some doing excellent. This one flowered for me ..... The flower opens around 4pm and closes around 6pm. Only open 2h a day. Anyone knows if its how Lithops flowers are if not why does it only open for 2h a day?

That seems to be what my wife's lithops do for the most part.

It probably depends on how much sun intensity it gets, or the warmth of the room / greenhouse.
Days are getting shorter in Canada. I guess by 6 in the evening the sun is too low on the horizon to casts some real sun intensity, and OI don't know if your plant is in a greenhouse where warmth will stay in the greenhouse longer in the (already getting colder) evenings than inside a house.

Afternoon flowers that's what my lithop is doing , Flower opens around 4pm and closes around 6pm and also yellow flowering.
