Orchid gardens, La Garita, Costa Rica. Beautiful garden but not many cacti and succulents. This beaucarnea stood out.

Nice photos. I have a B. recurvata whose trunk was dying. So I cut it back and it turned into a "volcano plant" with 5 trunks growing from the caudex. I am glad that I did not give up on it. Below is a photo.
