Echinocereus

I was away from home for a couple of week and I found this when I got back. So I am here to share it with you.

Very nice flowers! I see you got some Melocacti as well? :D

Hi guys, thank You for your nice comments. I live in central Namibia. But come from Italy, I moved here 14 years ago. Gemhunter, yes some melocactus are in between the other plants. Sue, no idea of the species. I got a small plant in a nursery, with no name. I then propagated it by cuttings, it never developed seeds. Lot of new species are germinating at the moment. I hope all goes well.

It is pentalophus obviously, hard to tell which form from the picture. They differ in stem size mainly.

And today more flowers from echinopsis I grew from seeds 10 years ago from Mesa Garden.

Unfortunately not. It was an echinopsis mix. I managed to grow at least 7 different types. All developed several heads, only one has a huge single head. I never saw a single seed produced.
