I think I'm going to be able to make it to the sale on Friday this year (can't be there on the weekend...).
Anyone else planning on being there?
Hoping it is worth the 5 hour drive!
Cheers,
Tristan

Yes, I will be there on Sat. An hours drive for me.

I'll be there on Friday too. I've been recruited to help out with the judging on Friday (as an assistant not as a judge) so I'll show up early and buy some plants.
I'm now selling plants on Ebay. Check it out! Kyle's Plants

Hope to see you there!Saxicola wrote:I'll be there on Friday too. I've been recruited to help out with the judging on Friday (as an assistant not as a judge) so I'll show up early and buy some plants.
I've read contradicting info on when the sales area starts on Friday - most indicate 1030am, but at least one source quotes 1:30pm start time for sales on Friday.
Anyone know for sure?
I'll be there as early as possible in the afternoon regardless!

Starts at noon:

Do you belong to a local C&S society in AZ? If so be sure to bring your name tag. Huntington is causing problems this year and wants to charge everyone admission to the garden (which is something like $25). They worked out a compromise where if someone is wearing their badge they can get into the show for free. If you don't have a name tag send me a PM and I'll tell you about other options.

Glad Sax brought that up, as it may be the norm for the next few years! Who knows though. The construction project is "said" to be done in 2015.
CCN will be selling, so i'll be there the whole time, look forward to seeing you again (Tristan) and meeting some others from the forum!

Let's just say, this was the first time I ever had to CUT a cactus to take home because it wouldn't fit otherwise!Tony wrote:Wish I could join you on Friday, Have a good time.
