Would someone please watch tonight's game for me. It's too late (or better too early) here to watch it. I prefer Kings.
I'm hoping for their triumph. Why??' Because no Slovene ever got Stanley's Cup yet. Hope Anze Kopitar will be the first one.

They should have won Sat. night...
On a side note, my father used to coach Martin Brodeur, goalie for NJ and we played on the same team for a year or 2.

Just one more question; California is quite far from New Jersey, right? I guess you weren't always there?!

I hate New Jersey with a passion, it's easy for me because I am one of those crazy Philly Fans...

I know. It was a historic victory for Slovenia. Anze Kopitar is the 1st hockey player from Sloveia to play in NHL. There were some other players with slovenian roots but different citizenship.Peterthecactusguy wrote:BTW the Kings Won the game.

haha, I was right Darryl, I was pretty sure that Martin Brodeur was from Canada.
Yes, it's true. I saw a thing about Slovenian hockey players. Some of them were playing in Canada and got their citizenship there.

I didn't see this thread until today, but I was watching the games. I am a devils fan. I couldn't even finish watching game 6 because it was going so terribly. I know the Kings really wanted it at all costs though because they had never won. Next year, I guess.
