Looking for cereus forbesii v spiralis

Post by Joel143 »

I've been noticing lately this particular cereus and am interested in locating one for purchase. I've been searching for a while with no luck whatsoever.

I found one last year in a pot of regular forbesii. They all look like spirals now that they are getting thirsty though...

That was how I first seen one. It was over a year ago and I regret not getting it then. Now I just see pics of it and seeds now and then but never a plant. Just keeping my fingers crossed that I can come across one again.

Joel, I saw some for sale in the PHX area awhile ago. I dont remember where, but it was at a nursery. Problem is the small nurseries go out of business a lot in AZ. It's a hard business and there are so many ones that are much better.
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.

I'm Louisiana so the nursery would have to sell online. Remember the name?
