Forum Update About to Happen

Great job Daiv! This new layout looks much more tidier to me.
Only glitch I'm experiencing is "invisible" part up right of the site, UCP, Inbox, Search etc.....

I need to add I'm using Opera, so I know sometimes sites don't look as they actually should be.

My pics are visible now. At least all of them that I can rembember puting on. For I can't find where to klick to find MY POSTS (does such option exists?)

Thank you Hob, but is there any option how one can do that on his/shes own?

And what about profiles change? Did I oversee that? Or there isn't an option.

And one more question (for the moment ) Now I'm logged in. Is there an option to log out? Or did I missed it too?

there is a problem with the update at the moment, if you move your mouse at the top right under the green line

you may see some lines show up each of these has a function try clicking on each to see what it does

I found place where to find an option to find someones posts. it's in Everyones member profile. The section "Search user's posts" has active klick.

Hi everyone. Here is an update on happenings:

1. The existing image tags are still causing issues and the fix didn't turn out to be as easy as it was supposed to be. This is priority #1 right now. If anyone wants to fix their images in a specific post, just go to your message and edit the img tag and then click submit. Change the code from:

(or whatever numbers are in your image tag) to just read:

2. The header at the top: This is a style issue resulting from customizing the header. Style things are a bit tricky, but we should be able to fix this right after the images are done.

3. Posting new images. I'm going to install a "gallery" mod as soon as these first two items get fixed. This will enable us to post images and for us to have a gallery of images that can be viewed as an album and not just in posts.

After these priority issues get fixed, then we can explore some of the more creative/fun things such as adding new smilies, adding a chat function, and that sort of thing.

Don't sweat it Daiv. The update was long overdue and the forum will be way better off once we're on the other side of it. A few hiccups now is expected and a small price to pay. So far, so good!

Thanks! Part of the reason, the conversion was not as smooth as it could have been is that I put it off for so long! I think the two versions are about 7 or 8 years apart!

If indicated by the cursor they are visible. That should work until you do the rest.

Yes, the green background is supposed to fill the whole header, not just half of it. The text is nearly the same color as the background and that is why it is almost invisible.

Just thought I would say - It's looking great Daiv! Great Job! I like some of the new features!

Yikes! I just saw the header in IE, looks a lot better in Firefox and Chrome.

But Daiv is right, that stuff is secondary. The header should be a lot of fun to play with once the basics are set. The logo and buttons are all pretty old-fashioned, any graphic artists/Web designers aboard who might volunteer to freshen them up?
