Harrisia jusbertii

Post by ali »

Hi guys.
I want to try H. jusbertii from seed, so I bought some.

- Where should I put them to open their flowers?
(Full Sun / Shade / Half Sun / ...) :?:
- Is there any pollination tips or anything about them?

try not to move them too much and water too much, i get aborted flowers when i mess with them a lot. they are nto selfing either in my experience. but i have had them produce fruit with some Echinopsis species.

How old are your plants? Also what are the measurements of the pictured plants. I have some that I planted over the summer and was wondering how long till I get flowers.
I am just looking for the defining statement to put here. Follow this link to see my other cacti.

None of the blooms could make it! :(
I don't know how old they are. But I found out one thing about these plants; It's very hard for them to grow under Ultraviolet.
Don't put them in the full sun!
