I have Pierrebraunia bahiensis -Pix added

Post by DWDogwood »

I obsessively sought this Brazilian newcomer out a couple of years back and after several dud tiny seed lot packs from wherever, I found a supplier and bought 500 seeds figuring I'd get a lucky few plants.
I have 42 seedlings.
3" tall 2 years old, survived 32*f in the greenhouse last winter.
This cactus is not commercially available to my knowledge in the US yet.
I'm putting 10 plants aside for forum members@ $12 shipped flat rate priority. I'll throw in a bonus cactus seedling of some destinction with each request.
I also have x-pachgerocereus orcuttii seedlings as well. 12" tall. Same deal.
It would be nice to find homes for these since my retirement nursery plans are still 15 years off.
Hope I'm meeting the stated requirements of the forum. "Profit" is not my motive. US postal service will see to that!!

Absolutely fine! Not even a problem if you did make a few bucks on it. The idea for the rules is to prevent unknowns from "using" the forum for their own profit, but do not contribute in any other way.

"Regular" members should feel free to do this sort of thing.
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti

Thanks for the post Daiv.
And to clarify:
The mother plant is the x-pachgerocereus orcuttii who's seedlings are not pictured but are nice foot tall spiney plants.
And rare!!!
