This will include all forms of new growth on a cactus or succulent plant e.g. spines, leaves, segments, shoots from a caudex or pups from underground... . Not included in the topic are flowerbuds.

Prize:
To the winner goes, A $10 gift certificate towards any CoronaCactus.com purchase. (Plants, tools, Pots, labels, etc.)
NOTE: For members outside of the USA non-plant prizes can only be awarded.

for submissions will be Friday, February the 18 th at 12 o´clock midnight Central Standart Time

Here is the first bud of the year, probably a new pad but it could be a flower bud too. It's an O. engelmannii and also take note that it was the first bud I found of the year, 2 weeks ago it was really cold, all the sudden it's warm! :)
