Pachyphytum hookeri-'compactum'

At least that's what the tag said. Is just starting to flower.

And this little one is a long way from the large shrubby plant that it is to become. I will harden it off after winter for life outdoors as I will eventually grow it on the steps of our deck... I love the big red flowers on these.
Cotyledon orbiculata.

Who am I to denie a tag of a nursery? Anyway mine has a different colour (much more green) and is more "Hookeri". Also the flowers are more reddish and not orange at all. Helas, no picture avalable. Greets Harry

Of course Harry, the nursery tag would never be wrong,
I've been unable to find any info on P. hookeri-compactum... P. hookeri and P. compactum are quite similar looking plants, but this one is not really like either. and the flowers/inflorescences are quite different too.
this is my old compactum and flower...

Either way Harry, I like it's form and colour, and the lovely flowers are a bonus.
