lemme first say that this site is pretty nice. good job on the layout! anyways, i just bought this cactus at a garage sale for a buck. (in tucson) , and i have no clue what it is. here are a couple pics of it. it's about 12" tall. any help would be greatly appreciated.

it kinda looks like the one in the background of this pic, which is the site owners pic.

I'm going to go with it's an Esposotoa. I have a Esposotoa senilis that looks very similar. Click on this link to see a pic of it:

I think that it could also be some type of Cleistocactus.

Sorry that's Espostoa senilis. Also know as Thrixanthocereus senilis.

edit: actually, it looks like this:(and you know, i don't remember how in the world i ended up with cephalocerus apicephalium. i think it was the synonyms.)
