its not a cactus,its an agave.
If you could get a better picture
i think i could help you ID that agave
its a big one thats for sure :)

Can you say,

Tequila?

I knew it was the good ol' Century Plant, Agave americana before Bob stepped in! :)
In our yard in Scottsdale, Arizona, we had 6 huge ones that began blooming just before we moved out. Good thing we were moving, too, because clearing them out after the flower stalk withers is a real pain in the hiney. Black widows absolutely LOVE to reside in them!

So, where is this lovely specimen?
