Just a few questions regarding my cactus.
The large one that i got identified as an echinopsis has given off a load of pups.
Ive just popped them off and potted them and some of them are growing very fast.
Questions, Is my cactus going to produce pups indefinetely and are the pups going to produce their own pups eventually?how long does it take for the pups to make their own?
why does this happen at all?is it actual offspring of the cactus or just a part of the same plant breaking off.
I could be sitting on a goldmine of cacti!
my cactus produced 20 pups and since ive taken them off i can already see new ones beginning!
Thanks in advance,
Alex

All succulents are cacti but not all cacti are succulents.
