All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
this is a fun little game how many pics do you have in the database?
The best time to plant a cactus is twenty years ago. The second best time is now...

That was fun - 20/20. It paid to take time and really look over the photos. The second one, had it not a dried bloom among the stems could have gone either way. The unusual Euphorbia with all the lumps also really required a careful look as there appeared to be a single cycathia on it. The tree-like one was just a guess and with the barrel cactus around it you had to hope that the tree-like plant was the one to focus on.
Could it have more photos added for retakes? If there was a pool of perhaps 100-150 photos a random group of 20 could be pulled up for each quiz. Again, lots of fun.
Thanks for the nice afternoon brain teaser.

Glad you guys liked it. I got the idea when Juergen sent me the picture of Euphorbia fruticosa. I knew Euphobia trigona often fooled people, but I thought it would be surely mixed up with Ferocactus.
Nathan,
Mixing it up with different pics is an idea. The way I built it is half dynamic/half static so I'd have to rework it. I might just make a couple different ones since I see they are a hit.
I picked tricky ones on purpose. Too many more and it might start to become obvious.

I got 15/20. Not too bad for a relative beginner.
I cry foul on the Pereskia grandifolia, however. There are so many plants in that pic that I wasn't sure which one I was supposed to be looking at!

this quiz is HARD, I got 16/20, #4, #9, #15 & #16 were wrong. 15 is tricky indeed, looks so much like sedum.
