Alluaudia procera today with new Spring growth. This plant is five-years-old, has never bloomed, and looking like I'm going to have to cut the top off to get it to branch, something I really don't want to do. Tony

Mine has produced 5 stems, but only after it froze all the way to the ground about 5 years ago. :lol:

I'm surprised that the 3 years ago freeze didn't get the top. You can let it grow. I haven't figured out how long for blooms, but another 10 years at least from my experience. Cutting it will force the main stalk to get much more stout, plus , of course branching.
