She's been collecting them for about 15 years. She's really fond of Allaudia, Euphorbia, Gasteria, Haworthia, Aloe, and all the epiphytic cacti.. I didn't get but maybe half to a third of her plants in those pictures. Most have been moved outdoors for the summer already.
She also has an extremely impressive collection of Sempervivum but if I started posting pictures of all those this thread would take hours to load on dial-up :-)

Yeah, she has some nice specimens there! Especially that C. ausensis!

Nice collection. Have to presume that your friend is involved with the Cascade Cactus & Succulent Society who are the hosts of th CSSA Convention next spring. We are really looking forward to Cactus in Seattle, what a concept.

Just look what a little glass can do for a collection.

What is that incredibly spiny thing? It looks very much like some kinda foot massage gizmo from a department store.

The spiny one that I think you are referring to is Euphorbia suzanne.

lol It's a unique plant for sure. She has two but that one was better looking :-) Reminds me of a little green prickly person.. no idea why.
