Hmmm, I just realised I've put the wrong dates on the file name... am I really a month behind?

Great to see flowers like that CP, thanks for posting. The hemispheres overlap this time of year, I just noticed buds on Echinocereus viridiflorus and Glandulicactus wrightii yesterday.

Great flowers, CP, especially the Astrophytum. :)

You always have such great flowers to post -- how many plants do you have?

Thanks heaps for all the nice comments, I love to post my pics to such appreciative friends, particularly when I'm tempted to think you've seen it all before!

:D Well, not quite a million... come to think of it nowhere near a million, last count I had around 1200 plus...running out of room so have to expand as I got nowhere to grow-on my seedlings.

Hello CP,
I also enjoyed looking at your images. My vote goes to the Astrophytum as well. I love the white petals with the yellow center. :)

Harald

P.S.: I always thought the flower color would be yellow.

Uh, not sure how to tell you this mate, but it is yellow... the satiny petals are reflecting the light a bit which gives them a paler look!
Glad you like it, ...wouldn't it be a treat if the flowers were white! :D

Cheers, CP
