The Show and Sale has been a tremendous success, and there still is one day left.
The show judges; Tom Glavich, Buck Hemenway and Gary James did a excellent job judging the 100s of plants, and without question the awards were given with great expertise in every category.
More show highlights tomorrow.

Me and Denise got 6 trophys, out of 14.

I'll never get tired of looking at those plants 8)
AWESOME!

Thanks Craig, yes, we did get a few ribbons and we got Best Rookie and was awarded a very nice pot as a prize. The plant was our Ceropegia hybrid (radicans x stapeliiformis) that cooperated very nicely as the flowers opened Sat. morning!

It was a great show guys, lots of amazing plants. It was great to finally meet you and Denise face to face Craig! :)
My son and I got to spend several hours touring the Fullerton Arboretum as well, the sonoran desert exibit is coming along nicely. We had a great time, Only wish we had brought some bread for the ducks, oh well, next time. :D
Forget the dog...Beware of the plants!!!

The judging part is never easy. Those two arios were getting the top prize regardless. The crested one would have won any of the cactus trophies, but it got the Best Crest so the other one could get Best Cactus. All of those cacti winners were exqusite.
