Dallas mall

Post by Dominique »

I was away for a few days and not for good reasons (death of my father in law). Since I'm always carrying a camera, I could not resist making this picture in a mall (North Dallas) : grafted mihanovichii and haworthia. They will probably not live very long in this environment

I grew up in Dallas and I am familiar with the mall. It's North Park Mall. They typically have art on loan form the Dallas Museum of Art and my guess is, this is a work on loan. I am hopeful that the needs of the cacti will be considered in preserving the work of art. I am heading up there in a week and will try and swing by to see how they are doing.

Yes, it is North Park Mall. There were also much taller plants (4-5 feet), one of them partly dead. Thank you for giving me news if you go over there!

That is very strange to me, but I guess that's what makes it art. :?
