Wild story Chaz! Well most of the world thinks we're all looney for growing cacti so you fit right in! :P

You do have a challenge with Cacti being in England, but there are members here that are proof positive that it can not just be done, but done well!

Welcome to the forum! :)

Don't worry about being a newbie -- when I joined last November I was a newbie to plants. :lol:

My first plants were some violas and a cactus. The violas succumbed to aphids, but the cactus is doing its best to outgrow the windowsill! :laughing5:

These guys (and gals) are great about answering newbie questions -- you won't meet a nicer bunch of folks.
