Very nice as usual Martin, yours is a much paler form than the one I had, so there is some variation!

Yes, the color of the flowers can differ quite a bit from plant to plant, and the amount of sun also pays a role. Here is a photo of a much older plant, that's taken far more sun. In direct sun the plant turns dark purple.

I am curious-- do all stapeliad flowers stink or is it just certain ones :?:
