Daiv for some reason I am not being automatically logged in anymore

A couple of other forums I am in I am not having any trouble with only Cactiguide.

Any clues as to why

Betty,
Yes, this is a bug that I don't know how to get around. I haven't found a solution yet on PHPBB. But however thier code is written, it seems that after some time the cookies get full and stop working some or alltogether.

I think it is always only with Internet Explorer and being that the PHP guys are not big windows fans, I'm not sure that they care to fix it.

In any case, the fix is easy. Just clear your temp files. Under "Tools" -> "Internet Options" -> "Delete..." choose "Delete Cookies". No need to clear form data or passwords, but it wouldn't hurt to clear browsing history and Temporary Internet files as well.

Doing this clear every so often is a good idea for browswer performance in any case.

I use Firefox and it keeps me logged in at home. However, it does not on my work computer or the Laptop (it uses IExplorer)

Yeah, I do think it is strictly an IE issue. Perhaps only even IE 6 or 7 and later versions too.

speaking of which firefox v3 is out now, i always use firefox except for windows update which automatically opens internet explorer.
which browser to use is a matter of preference, for me firefox does everything internet explorer can do only better, also web hijackers tend to write code to attack internet explorer it being the most used browser so from that standpoint firefox is a bit safer to use.
