beautiful as always! Love the flowers on those. Such a small plant (pygmy), but long flower tube and huge white flower. Very well grown!

Excellent Suleyman. I've just split up a nice clump that had been attacked by red spider mite; it's been a bit stubborn about flowering ever since getting scorched a few years ago, so I'm hoping that dividing it might rejuvenate it a bit. It was a "big" clump - i.e. about 3 1/2" across! :)

It's a very variable species, and almost all of the species that used to be in Pygmaeocereus are now lumped under P. bylesianus. I have a nice white-spined form that I recently picked up from Richard and Wendy Edginton.

Yes, I ended up binning the pieces I had left from that plant Hob as I had much the same thing. I think it had been without roots for so long that the pieces just weren't going to bother.

This other plant was younger and much healthier - nice tuberous roots on each piece after I split it, so each one should get going nicely. Chuck that other one out and I'll send you another when I'm a little more organised.
