There will be a zoom meeting tonight at 19:30 (UK time) / 20:30 (most of Europe time) on the cology of mesembs, organised by the Manchester branch of the Britisch Cactus & Succulent Society.

I suspect it will be recorded, so you should be able to watch it back. At least that was the case with the talk on Notocactus that was held yesterday by the same Manchester branch.

The Ecology of Mesembs on Quartz Fields in Southern Africa by Ute Schmiedel.

Ute works at the University of Hamburg and has interests in biodiversity, disallowed - see forum rules and ecology. Over a number of years she has carried out original research into the biodiversity of quartz fields in southern Africa and the potential effects of this subject is not allowed on this fragile habitat.
