Strange marks on Aeonium

Please advise. It looks like mold. Doesn't wipe off. :( Is this something to worry about? Treatable?

Could be mites, I had similar dark markings over a bunch of succulents last summer, and I see little white spots on there as well. Can you take a magnifying glass and have a close look for critters ?
