Coryphantha, I'd say.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

From the grooves on top of the tubercles I agree with George a Coryphantha.

It looks like it's just started mature spines. A feature to note is the tubercles are flattened and point vertically, rather than perpendicular to the body.
Disclaimer: I'm in sunny Arizona, so any advice I give may not apply in your circumstances.

Thank you very much for your help. I have read the sheet of the llifle of the coryphanta elephantidens .... very interesting, now to wait for the flowering to see if it is aromatic as the sheet says and to see the color of the flower
