That last M. zeilmanniana is a really strange looking one

Very nice cacti, I see they like very much your care.
That unknown fellow with pretty new head as you guessed is motherinlaw's chair = Echinocactus grusonii. Don't cut it, it will grow much bigger and thin neck will be compressed by the time.

Why do you say it's strange looking? Do you not think it is Zeilmanniana? It's extremely similar to my Albiflora Zeilmanniana, just has loads of pups.

Sorry, I am no expert and I don't mean to confuse you!

I had the same feeling that you had when you said about the spines beeing darker and the flowers not quite like a M. zeilmanniana. I had a look on Llifle and I found one that looks quite similar, but even that one has longer radial spines.

It's okay. You didn't confuse me. I was just curious as I identified that one Zeilmanniana myself. It was a purchase from Lidl about 2-3 years ago and I had no idea what i had purchased. After you saying that though, I did think about it and the flowers are a lot smaller on it than on my albiflora Zeilmanniana's so it could be incorrectly identified.
