Thanks

Flip the age numbers and you have me...a youthful minded, energetic, old man @ 62. Just reached the summit of Deseret Peak @ 11,033' ASL last August. Bonneville Salt Flats behind me on the horizon.
Woow! I love high altitude hiking and used to do a lot of trails. Here, when the conditions are right, hiking at 2000m and plus you'd be above the cloud. It's an amazing sight to see. I will have to look up my old photos. Unfortunately, i gave up long distance hiking and energy intensive work since i started my powerlifting journey.

And here are some new photos. I'm toying around with stagings.

I might as well plant a forest. Mostly north American columanrs:

Great cactus collection, Elie! You seem to have about all shapes and sizes covered and more than one of each genus and species. :)
How many plants do you already have in your private cactus garden center?
I do like those Gymnocalycium baldianum hybrids. Did you cross-pollinate them or is someone selling these in your country?

Thank you Harald! I've never counted plants but i gotta say several hundreds. Most of my plants are duplicates of plants i like.
The gymnocalyciums are from my first batch of seedlings from 2016. They are my own crosses. Last year i focused on crossing several shades of reds and pinks but unfortunately lost around 80% of them to slugs and i'm left with a 100 or so seedlings.
Here's an unrepotted batch of open pollinated hyrbids. These usually always turn out in the most part whites and yellows. I have noticed that whites are way more tolerant of overwatering and pests
