If you water every few days i'd say that's more than enough, maybe give some fertilizer with micronutrients every few months. If you water more, your cacti will grow faster than normal and will be unnatural looking

Be aware they can die due to too much water much easier than they can die of too little water. Probably is also applicable to your climate (definately for mine). Too much water is the most prominent cause of death.

Try to monitor how much your soil takes to dry out (be it 2 days or a week) and water accordingly
