Cactus ID please (02)

Post by msniepes »

Hi. I am still new to cactus care and still struggling to identify one. I want to know how to properly care for my cacti and I guess it should start with identification first. Based on my limited research, I think this is echinobivia, is it? Also, sorry I only have 1 photo. I'll try to upload some more including a top view and include the measurements. Thank you!

They've lumped Lobivia into Echinopsis, now they just call them Echinopsis hybrids - and, yes, that's probably what it is.

Thank you, Spence. I also read somewhere that this could be echinocereus pectinatus.

Echinocereus pectinatus is named after its pectinate spines, which this clearly does not have.
